The Graduate College at the University of Vermont fosters a culture in which the value of diverse and high-impact careers in the academy, government and the public sector, industry and business, and the non-profit or social impact sector is broadly understood and embraced

Our graduate programs, the Graduate College, and the wider university provide resources and training opportunities for graduate students to prepare for career success as future leaders across all sectors.

We empower our students to build and narrate their training as a story of growing competencies in research, synthesis and analysis, communication, project design and management, collaboration and leadership, as well as cultural sensitivity skills as they equip themselves for careers across the academy and beyond.
