Reporting to the Dean of the Graduate College and Postdoctoral Studies Dr. Christopher Berger, Dr. Stockwell oversees orientation and professional development initiatives and acts as the liaison to the Postdoctoral Association.
Postdoctoral Scholar: Definition
We define a postdoctoral scholar, per the National Postdoctoral Association (NPA), as “an individual holding a doctoral degree who is engaged in a temporary period of mentored research and/or scholarly training for the purpose of acquiring the professional skills needed to pursue a career path of [their] choosing.”
