Project Overview
Assess gene flow among apparently isolated populations of Bicknell's Thrush by collecting blood samples for analysis of microsatellite DNA variation among populations inhabiting mountain ranges in the northeastern US. Compare gene flow of Bicknell's thrush with Veeries (Catharus fuscescens) which has high gene flow due to its continuous distribution.
