Methods
The methods followed in the creation of the dataset, including description of field, laboratory and processing steps, and quality control procedures
Current Methods
Tree metrics
Started: 1991-06-01Remeasure dieback, transparency and density on trees within Forest Health Monitoring plots 3-4 times per season, using protocols in NFHM field methods manual.
Started: 1992-06-01Two plots used, one at 1400 feet (Proctor Maple Research Center) and at 2200 feet (Underhill State Park) for 1992 and 1993 remeasurements.
Past Methods (No longer in use)
Started: 1991-06-01
Ended: 1992-06-01One plot used at 1400 at Proctor Maple Research Center for 1991 remeasurements.
