Project Overview
The Massachusetts Continuous Forest Inventory program consists of a network of 1761 plots located on State Forest lands across the state of Massachusetts. Established in the 1960s, these permanent plots have been re-measured multiple times since they were established.
Objectives
The information gathered in the MA CFI program provides data on the status and trends of forest resources.
