Project Overview

This project aims to study migratory songbird migration routes along the Connecticut River Valley. The Connecticut River Valley is known to be an important route for these birds and by better understanding how they are using the valley the USFWS can better manage for them. To do this, birds are being tracked using radio transmitters which are picked up by receivers placed along the valley at high points with clear views of the valley and the surrounding landscape.

Objectives

To monitor migration routes along the Connecticut River for population and habitat decline.
