Youth who showcased their varied and many talents at Vermont 4-H State Communications Day this spring will advance to an even larger stage at The Big E in September, which welcomes 4-H'ers from across New England.

State Communications Day was held at the University of Vermont on May 9. Throughout the program, there were:

  • singers and rhythmic gymnastics performers
  • poetry and monologue reciters
  • demonstrators of no-knead bread and homemade fly spray
  • presenters of the history of swords and field stripping a chainsaw
  • many more youth who educated, entertained and interacted with the audience
