Tropical Storm Beryl pushed into Vermont on July 10 and 11 causing catastrophic flooding and damage to roads, bridges, and buildings. 

UVM Extension provides the resources and information on this page to assist Vermonters in recovering from this current natural disaster. 

These materials have been developed by UVM Extension experts as well as our local, state and federal agency partners.

Vegetable and Berry Research and Extension Gift Fund:  Donations to UVM's vegetable and berry research and extension gift fund help the support recovery of flooded farms by paying the cost of soil testing to guide replanting decisions, and by providing free cover crop seeds to restore soil health in flooded fields.

Vermont Emergency Management:

Sign up to receive VT-Alerts: https://vem.vermont.gov/vtalert This system is used by state and local responders to notify the public of emergency situations which include (but are not limited to) evacuation information, chemical spills, shelter-in-place alerts, severe weather advisories, boil water advisories, and roadway interruptions.  NOTE: Residents can tailor the alerts to specific locations, types of alerts, and on which devices they will be notified.
