Carly is the lead communicator for the Vice Provost and Dean of Students Office and the Division of Student Affairs. Through systems-building, strategy design, and creative content development, her work seeks to better amplify the complex, engaging, and multifaceted student experience at the university. For the Vice Provost, Carly creates a variety of written, visual, and digital assets to help create a cohesive and community-oriented campus. She curates Inside UVM for Students, a weekly newsletter that goes to all 14,000+ UVM students, and the Catamount Family Newsletter for undergraduate parents and guardians.

Prior to UVM, Carly spent 13 years in New York City learning and working as a video editor and communications specialist. Originally from Vermont, she now lives in Winooski and enjoys hammocking, photography, and exploring the northeast.
