A pre-orientation program for incoming first-year students focused on global learning, intercultural skills, and community building.

Travel Study (Short-Term)

UVM faculty-led courses abroad during winter, spring, or summer breaks. Financial aid may apply. Visit GoAbroad for current offerings.

Internships Abroad

Gain real-world experience and cross-cultural skills. Explore opportunities on GoinGlobal or UVM’s Internships and More site.

Full Semester Study Abroad

Earn 15–18 credits abroad. Options vary by major:

  • Biomedical & Clinical Sciences: Spring of sophomore year (summer coursework required)
  • Communication Sciences & Disorders: Fall or Spring of junior year
  • Exercise Science: Spring of sophomore year (summer or abroad coursework required)
  • Medical Radiation Sciences: Fall of sophomore year (early planning required)
  • Nursing: No full-semester options; Travel Study encouraged
  • Public Health Sciences: Fall or Spring of sophomore/junior year
