College of Arts and Sciences

Student Ambassadors for Retention & Success (STARS)

The Student Ambassadors for Retention & Success (STARS) are undergraduate students in the College of Arts & Sciences who work to build community within the college and help CAS students feel a stronger sense of belonging.

The STARS program began in Fall 2025 and they have already done so much! The ambassadors in the program plan several events throughout the semester, open to all CAS students, designed to bring students together and connect them with support resources. From welcoming students during the first of classes, to connecting them with their advisors, and so much more! The ambassadors are finishing out the spring semester with our final event to celebrate CAS students and the end of the semester. The purpose of this program is to create a more cohesive sense of identity among CAS students, bringing together arts students, science students, and every student in between.
