Momo Alexander

My name is Momo (they/them), and I am a fourth-year political science and gender, sexuality, & women’s studies student here at UVM. I love being a part of the STARS program because I am passionate about ensuring everyone feels involved in the community that has made me feel so welcome. My favorite things are the ocean and my two cats and two dogs!

César Camacho

Hello everyone! My name is César, and I am a junior, Political Science and Global Studies double major with a Statistics minor. I am also a Senator on SGA, an RA on Redstone Campus, and the President of the International Student Club (ISC), so don't hesitate to say hi if you see me around! I am really excited to be part of the STARS team and create wonderful things for everyone. Outside of work and school, I love writing in my journal, listening to music, and dancing (I am not the best at it, though). Fun fact: I am an international student from Ecuador, so if you want to speak Spanish, I will be more than happy to chat.

Leah Dillon

My name is Leah Dillon (she/her), I’m from Hanover, Massachusetts, and I'm a sophomore English major with minors in writing and philosophy. I'm a member of the Political Science Club, the Creative Writer's Guild, and The Vermont Cynic in addition to working on campus as a UVM Dining Ambassador. Some of my biggest passions are reading and writing, and I'm also a huge music nerd. In my spare time I love to crochet and draw. My favorite thing about UVM is that you can be really any kind of person you want here, and I also adore the interdisciplinary focus of the curriculum. Overall, the educational and social environment at UVM is one that I'm incredibly proud to be a part of and am thrilled to be sharing with other students as a CAS Ambassador!

Daniel Gibson

Hi! My name is Daniel Gibson (he/they), I'm a junior political science and theatre double-major with a music minor, originally from Burlington VT. In addition to STARS, you'll find me giving campus tours as an AdvoCat, performing locally with various theatre companies, hiking, exploring all the nature Vermont has to offer, and playing with my cat!

Izzy Guido

My name is Izzy (she/her), and I am a current senior double majoring in Political Science and Global Studies, with a minor in Film. I'm from the North Shore of Massachusetts and am currently working at Chamberlin Elementary School through the School's Out afterschool program. Outside of work and school, I enjoy going to the gym, cooking, reading, and playing the guitar. My go-to drink this year has been an iced French toast matcha latte with oat milk from Kru Coffee.

Sabella Ibinyopakaka

Hi! My name is Sabella (she/her), and I am a senior economics and Japanese major here at UVM. I joined the STARS program because I want CAS students to have more opportunities to connect with their peers and faculty, and to build a stronger sense of community. In my free time, I love reorganizing my room while listening to any music genre under the sun.

My name is Sadie (she/her) and I’m a senior majoring in biochemistry. I wanted to become a student ambassador for CAS because I’m passionate about representing my college and giving back to the community that has shaped my undergraduate experience. I hope to be a friendly face on campus that people feel comfortable to ask questions!

Michelle Lacasse

My name is Michelle (she/her), and I am from Plymouth, Massachusetts! I am a junior, first-generation student majoring in Psychology with minors in Human Development and Family Science and Integrative Health and Wellness Coaching. Outside of school and work, I love spending time outside with friends, reading, cooking with my roommates, and volunteering in the community! I am super excited and very grateful to be working with STARS this semester and cannot wait to connect with the CAS community.

Maya Lin

Hi! My name is Maya (she/her), and I'm a Biology major and Chinese minor in CAS! I joined the STARS team because I'm interested in making CAS more accessible and giving back to my community. Some things that I love are my dog, Shirley Temples, and a good sunset. I'm so excited to help wherever I can, so please always feel free to come up and say hi!

Meredith Loney

My name is Meredith (she/her), and I am a third-year student at UVM. I have a double-major in environmental studies and global studies and a minor in French. I joined the STARS program because I believe that having a transdisciplinary academic experience is extremely valuable, and CAS resources can help students achieve this goal. In my free time, I like sewing, writing, and drinking iced caramel lattes.

Eleanor Mollohan

My name is Eleanor (she/her), and I am a current sophomore working on my Psychology degree here at UVM. I’m thrilled to be part of the CAS STARS program and look forward to all we’ll accomplish together this upcoming semester! I am from Boyce, Virginia, which is a small town outside of Washington, DC. Outside of school, I love to be outdoors, especially skiing in the winter and taking walks with my friends when the weather is nice.

Marshall Moffatt

Hello! My name is Marshall (he/him), and I am a sophomore at UVM. I study Political Science with a minor in Public Communications. A fun fact about me is that I serve on the executive board of a nonprofit organization called VPIRG, and I find joy in traveling to small Vermont tourist towns and creating a new identity for a day (with a British accent, of course). I am excited to contribute to the growth of the CAS community and advocate for those who may need guidance!

My name is Akili Mwibeleca (he/him), and I am a sophomore majoring in Political Science. I'm excited and grateful to get this chance to participate in the STARS program; through the STARS program, I am excited to develop strong leadership experiences, a deeper sense of belonging within the CAS community, and work with different groups. In my free time, I love to spend time outdoors, hanging out with friends, playing soccer, and working out.

Eve Neider

My name is Eve, and I am a sophomore studying Chemistry and Music Performance in CAS. I also work at the UVM Tech Team as a student technician, where you can find me trying to provide solutions to technology issues. I am really excited to join the CAS Student Ambassadors for Retention and Success program, where I hope to foster community and help others across campus! Aside from school and work, I love spending time playing with my cats and reading (preferably both at the same time).

Peyton Paquette

Hello, my name is Peyton, and I am a senior student studying Political Science here at UVM. I additionally am a senator in UVM's Student Government Association, as well as the president of a political organization on campus, UVM Indivisible. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work in the STARS program and am excited to provide a more cohesive community for all students in the College of Arts and Sciences. Outside of academics and extracurriculars, I am an avid musical theater nerd and enjoy creative writing in my free time!

Owen Pickel

My name is Owen (he/him), and I am a third-year Geography major with minors in Global Studies and Geospatial Technologies. Currently, I'm a research assistant for a project focusing on refugee resettlement in Southern Vermont. Outside of school, there is a pretty high chance you can find me discovering a new gravel biking route, hiking in Mount Mansfield State Forest, or skiing at Jay Peak or Bolton Valley. I can't wait to get to work in the STARS program this semester!

Heidi Prevost

Hi, my name is Heidi (she/her), and I am a junior in CAS. I am majoring in geography and anthropology. I was really excited to learn about STARS last semester—I am always looking for ways to be involved on campus and do my part to make positive change. In my free time, I like to draw, hang out with my cats, read, and spend time at the lake.

Veronica Punty

My name is V (she/her), and I am a third-year Neuroscience major with a minor in Music Technology & Business! I am also a researcher at UVM's Center on Disability and Community Inclusion (CDCI), helping to gather population data in the state of Vermont, a DJ at WRUV, as well as a UTA for Molecular and Cell Bio! As you could probably tell from my minor, music is a huge part of my life. I am a vocalist for a rock band back in my hometown in Simsbury, CT, and I absolutely love performing. I love writing songs, doing some killer living room karaoke, and general tomfoolery. I am super excited to help strengthen and foster a sense of community within CAS!

I'm excited to be part of the STARS program, and I'm looking forward to running some fun events! I am the social chair for UVM Weightlifting. In my free time, I enjoy weightlifting with UVM Weightlifting and making videos for UVMtv.
