BIO
Hornist Sel Yargici has enjoyed a musical career spanning over three decades, performing on world-renowned stages. He has concertized with numerous orchestras in Europe, Asia, South America, the Middle East, and North America. Sel has performed as the guest solo-horn with Starkenburger Philharmoniker in Mannheim, Itu Festival Orchestra in Sao Paulo, as well as the Central Band of the Japanese Ground Self Defense Force in Tokyo.
Equally comfortable in chamber music settings, Sel has taken the stage in more than 50 performances with the Alliance Brass Quintet throughout Europe. Currently, he is a member of the Equinox Wind Quintet; one of the premier ensembles in Vermont, comprised of local artists.
He has participated in various recording projects and soundtracks, and performed with such artists and groups as Mel Torme, Johnny Rivers, Sir John Miles, Ben E. King, Dionne Warwick, the Moody Blues, Three Dog Night, and many others.
