Weekdays
Parking is strictly regulated in all UVM campus lots. A permit is required Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 6 PM.
Campus parking permits may be purchased from Transportation and Parking Services. There is one metered spot in the parking lot adjacent to the Recital Hall, and a few more by Blundell House (a single-story prefab building further along the round driveway). These meters require the use of the ParkMobile app - no cash or coins.
We encourage prospective students and families to book a campus tour through the Admissions Office, who will supply a parking permit for their visitors' lot (a 12-minute walk away from our department).
You can also look for a parallel parking spot along South Prospect St, south of our driveway entrance. Take care not to park in Residents Only zones.
Nights and Weekends
Are you coming to see one of our many free concerts? UVM parking lots are unrestricted after 6:00 pm and on the weekends - see the orange spots linked below. Park along the Redstone Green near Robinson Hall, the Recital Hall, the Water Tower and Interfaith Center, or the Blundell Building. Additional parking is available at Gutterson Garage a short walk away, or along South Prospect St.
