Senior Lecturer Ray Vega has been honored with the 2021 Herb Lockwood Prize in the Arts. Founded in 2014 and named for a Vermont musician and artist, the prize rewards “the pinnacle of arts leadership in a state blessed with creative energy disproportionate to its population.” When he isn’t teaching at UVM, Grammy Award-winning Vega is an active performer all across the country. He has hosted Friday Night Jazz on VPR since 2018. Bravo, Ray!
