Sarah joined the Plant Biology Department in January 2005. She provides administrative, editorial, and logistical support to the department and faculty. She also serves as the department web master. Before beginning her position at UVM, Sarah worked in textbook and encyclopedia publishing. She holds a B.A. in English from the University at Albany and an M.S. in Natural Resources from the University of Vermont.

Karyn provides accounting and human resources support to faculty and graduate students in the Plant Biology Department. Born and raised on Long Island, she is a country girl at heart. After graduating from Ithaca College, she moved to Vermont and worked in the ski resort industry for several years before coming to UVM. Karyn loves to read and cook, and is an unrelenting fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins.
