Jamie graduated from University of Massachusetts Amherst with a degree in Equine Science. Jamie interned with  Morgan Horse trainer  Amanda  DuPont at Windward Farm Morgan Horses. After graduation, Jamie completed the apprenticeship program at the UVM Morgan Horse Farm, learning from previous MHF Director Steve Davis. This firsthand experience as an alumna will uniquely inform her leadership of the apprentice program moving forward.

After completing her apprenticeship, Jamie was the breeding manager in South Carolina for a farm of over 60 PRE mares, managing all aspects of equine reproduction and the breeding herd. Jamie owned and operated a private equine training business for eight years in addition to being client services manager at SmartPak. Jamie joined the UVM Morgan Horse Farm team in 2022 as Equine Manager.
