Event Details for 2019

Every Saturday in June, 10am – 2pm
Mares & foals are turned out in the outdoor arena. Info booth available so guests can learn about the 2019 foals & early life of a Morgan Horse. Great photo ops! In the event of rain, visit the mares & foals at the Remount barn.
Saturday and Sunday, July 13th and 14th
Explore local and celebrate Middlebury's shared heritage in Joseph Battell. A passport guides participants through the town of Middlebury to see the businesses and architecture connected to Battell, including the Morgan Horse Farm. 4 special events through the weekend, with proceeds to benefit area non-profits. Visit event flyer for details including schedule of events, ticket information. Event co-organized with the Addison County Chamber of Commerce, the Henry Sheldon Museum, and the Middlebury Area Land Trust. 
4-H Day
Wednesday, July 24th, 10am to 2pm
Join members of Vermont 4H at the farm where they will provide learning opportunities through exhibits on STEM and horse related topics. Learn about the 4-H experience and familiarize with all the farm has to offer.


Vermont Day
Saturday August 3rd, 10am-3pm
A wonderful family annual event- the UVM Morgans are on display to demonstrate their versatility and heritage, no admission, bring a picnic lunch! Rain or shine.


Cavalry Day
Saturday, September 21st, 10am – 2pm
To educate about the Morgan’s important role in the building of this country, The Vermont 1st Cavalry Co. will be on hand to recreate living history through reenactments and demonstrations. 


Day of the Morgan & Foal Raffle 
Sunday October 27th, 10am – 2pm
Continue the tradition of an Open Barn and acknowledge the Governor's Proclamation that October 27th, 2017, is the Official Day of the Morgan in the State of Vermont. To culminate the season, winning ticket for the Raffle Foal will be chosen!
