The review of syllabi can take up to 2 weeks and sometimes longer.  You will be notified by email of the results.

Syllabi submitted will only be reviewed if one of the follow criteria are met:

  1. The syllabus is from an accredited AACSB business school.
  2. The syllabus is for a business core course.
  3. The syllabus is from an approved study abroad school.

The Grossman School of Business (GSB) does not accept transfer credits for business courses from any institution outside of the United States, unless the student is completing these courses through a University of Vermont approved Study Abroad program. This policy states that no business course(s) can be transferred back from any institution outside of the United States to a current Grossman Business student’s Business Core, Business Field, Business Concentration or Theme.

Courses with a C or higher can be transferred to UVM; only credits transfer, grades do not transfer. 

No transfer credit evaluation is official until credits appear on the student’s UVM transcript.
