BIO

Jennifer Rockne (she/hers) is GSB’s Business Communication Coach and a Lecturer in Business Communication 1130. Jennifer has a B.A. in English and Communication from the University of Michigan and an M.A. in Communication from the University of Colorado-Denver with a focus on rhetoric and gender communication. Her career includes corporate training in the semi-conductor industry, assistant to a professional speaker in gender and conflict resolution, and co-founding and co-directing a national non-profit organization focused on localized economic development. Most recently, Jennifer taught Professional Business Communication and directed the Bracken Business Communications Clinic in the Jake Jabs College of Business & Entrepreneurship at Montana State University in Bozeman. Jennifer and her husband Jeff love kinetic pursuits including biking, hiking, Nordic skiing, and water sports, and she looks forward to re-learning how to sail on Lake Champlain. They also are passionate vegetable gardeners working on establishing beds at their Colchester house. Jennifer is mom to two “kids” who, she claims, now are older than she is.
