Over the past months a group of our award-winning UVM Sustainable Innovation MBA students have been working on the Wharton-sponsored “Total Impact Portfolio Challenge.”

There were 25 teams entered in the competition which involved creating and analyzing a financial portfolio that met risk, return and impact objectives.  Many of the teams were from elite programs, including Chicago, Cornell, Columbia, Georgetown, MIT, Northwestern, NYU, Wharton, and Yale, and some of these schools entered more than one team.

We are pleased to announce that our Sustainable Innovation MBA team was one of the four teams that has advanced to the finals.

As a finalist, the team will attend and present their work at the Total Impact Conference in Philadelphia on May 1-2.

Congratulations to Alyssa Stankiewicz, Pete Seltzer, Emily Klein, Maura Kalil, and Andrew Mallory.
