UVM students will have the opportunity to learn from and network with top executives from the finance world and Wall Street, all of whom are UVM alums, this Friday September 30 at the Davis Center.
The Careers in Finance Panel and Speed Networking starts Friday September 30 at 9:00 a.m. with 2 seminars featuring guest speakers for a day of fascinating insights into the world of business and finance. All sessions and the panel are open to all UVM students, faculty and staff.
Wall St. 101 is "An Introduction to Institutional Investing" and will be held in the Jost Foundation Room from 9am-10:30am. The talk will be given by Alyssa A. Irving, Managing Director & Fixed Income Portfolio Manager, Wellington Management
Wall St. 102 features "M&A case studies" and will be held in the Frank Livak Ballroom from 9am-10:30am. The session will be led by Jamie Flicker, Managing Director & Partner, Greenhill & Co, LLC
The Careers in Finance Panel, continues on Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the Frank and Mildred Livak Room at the Davis Center, and is open to all UVM students interested in learning more about the finance business and how to approach a career on Wall St. from UVM alumni.
