The Grossman School of Business (GSB) is pleased to welcome back alum Chris Calger ’88, managing director, J.P. Morgan at the next Alumni Career Spotlight on Friday, February 9, 2024 from noon to 1 p.m. in the Ifshin Hall Keller Room. This event is free and open to all University of Vermont (UVM) students. GSB students are strongly encouraged to attend.
At this session, Chris will discuss his journey from GSB and his experience in finance and commodities. Students will gain insights into markets, career development, and sustainability.
Chris has more than 30 years of experience in commodities. He joined J.P. Morgan in 2007 and currently focuses on strategic energy transactions, client engagement and environmental markets, working closely with the Center for Carbon Transition. Prior to his current role, Chris was global head of J.P. Morgan’s Corporate Commodities business, where he led client coverage and the origination and execution of risk management and finance transactions in energy, metals, and agriculture. He completed the CFA program and holds an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management and a B.S. from the University of Vermont.
