This year the Grossman School of Business recognized its best and brightest Master of Accountancy (MAcc) Program graduates during the MAcc End of Program Student Recognition event. On Thursday, May 21st twenty UVM students graduating from the Master of Accountancy program gathered with faculty and family members to celebrate their accomplishments on the Fleming Green before heading to the UVM wide Graduate College ceremony.

During the event students were inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, and both student and faculty awards were given.

Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) is one of the highest recognitions a student can receive in an undergraduate or master's program in business schools accredited by the International Association to Advance College Schools of Business or AACSB. Seven University of Vermont Grossman School of Business graduate students were inducted into BGS, the international honor society that recognizes the outstanding academic achievements of students enrolled in collegiate business and management programs.

The students' selection not only recognizes academic achievements, it also expresses confidence in their abilities and promise to become responsible leaders in the future.

Congratulations to the new and 2nd recognized student inductees:

Jared Percoco
Sarah Smith
Jessica Thompson
Krystal Parent (2nd recognition)
Nolan Houston (2nd recognition)
Collin Mitchell (2nd recognition)
Hayley Ehrlich (2nd recognition)

Graduating MAcc students vote for the Teacher of the Year each spring and MAcc faculty select the Outstanding student award winners.
