Jay Bartlett, ('91) has come a long way from growing up in Barre, Vermont, but not too far to find his way back to UVM this week.

Jay spent a full day back here at his alma mater, first meeting with our Sustainable Entrepreneurship MBA students and Professor Stu Hart, who is a Grossman Chair of Sustainable Business and Co-Director of the Program. As a Partner and Co-Head of Parthenon EY's Private Equity Practice, he has led hundreds of due diligence and strategy assignments in a broad variety of sectors, worked as Director of Business Development for the Salt Lake Olympic committee and Olympics.com, and was a consultant for Bain & company. A wealth of experience he shared with the cohort.

After meeting with UVM President Tom Sullivan, Jay returned to Kalkin Hall to speak to a rapt undergraduate audience, the BSAD 282 “Security Val & Portfolio Mgmt” class, hosted by Professor Chuck Schnitzlein.

Many thanks to Jay for taking the time out of his busy schedule and providing our undergraduate and graduate students with a fascinating and informative insight into his business world and career.
