Technology

Business school graduates are expected to be proficient in the use of information technology. To support this goal, all students enrolled at GSB are required to own a portable computer. GSB Faculty recommend students use Windows rather rather than Mac laptops because of application compatibility.

ALEKS Math Placement

The ALEKS Math Placement Assessment (MPA) is required for placement in Fundamentals of Calculus 1 or Calculus 1. If you have AP credit for Calculus AB or BC and would like to begin with a higher level calculus course, you should also take the MPA.

Foreign Language Placement

If you plan on enrolling in French or Spanish at any level, you must take the placement test within three months of enrolling in a class. If you do not meet this prerequisite, you will be disenrolled from the course automatically.
