Veterans Services at ACCESS

The mission of the University of Vermont’s Disability Services (ACCESS) is to ensure that individuals with disabilities have equal access to University of Vermont programs. We accomplish this through the provision and coordination of direct services for students with disabilities. The services provided are tailored to meet the needs of each individual based on their specific disability.

Disability Services (ACCESS)  welcomes Veterans with documented disabilities who are returning to the educational system. We understand that Veterans may be experiencing unique disability related concerns that they’d like to discuss.  We recognize these issues and strive to ensure that the most comprehensive services are made available to eligible Veteran students through personal consultation with an ACCESS specialist and collaboration with the Veteran’s medical treatment team, Veteran’s Affairs representative, and/or Vocational Rehabilitation counselor.

  • Please visit the ACCESS website for more specific information about eligibility requirements and available services.
