Your setup is now complete!

However, your NetID gives you access to more than just using the VPN client.

For example, the UVM Software Archive (https://www.uvm.edu/software/) has several useful and important programs that you might need, such as:

• Symantec (Norton) Antivirus - This protects your computer from computer viruses. It is highly recommended that you download this.
• Windows Hotfix - If you are running Windows 2000 or Windows XP and have not downloaded and installed this yet, do it now. It will protect your computer from the famous Blaster virus and several more like it.
• Spybot Search & Destroy - Spyware is software that runs on your computer without your permission and may be sending your personal information to other people. To remove it, this is the program you need.
• Adobe Reader - This is the program you will need to open PDF files, which many UVM sites use to distribute important documents. Highly recommended.
