Distance Access to UVM

This is an ordered list, with directions, of the steps you will need to take to make sure you have distance access to UVM’s electronic resources. They’re very important and not that tedious—not nearly as tedious as getting 2 weeks into your course and still not being able to access your assignments or readings!

Start to get these setups done as early as possible. Problems can crop up and it often takes time to get them fixed, especially at the beginning of a semester. It’s much better to get all the bugs out of the way before class actually begins.

If you need to call for help, do it during business hours. If you need to leave them a message, bear in mind that they may not call you back till the end of the day or the next day. Make sure you leave a number that will take a message for you.
