- Arrange several informational interviews with practitioners in the field (aka: network)
- Keep abreast of local/national issues in healthcare through presentations & the news,
- Reflect on what keeps you inspired to work hard
- Identify the skills you have and the ones you most enjoy using
- Contemplate your values, your goals for work-life balance, and your financial obligations/hopes
- Consider your readiness to commit to the prolonged training required of your specific career of interest

Dr. Sahib Sachdeva graduated from UVM in 2012 from the College of Arts and Sciences with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry and later from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2017. Dr. Sachdeva now practices dentistry in Ohio.
