With private and public sponsors increasingly emphasizing multidisciplinary research, our team is committed to fostering impactful collaboration across campus. Our goal is to provide a service to our research community by offering to generate a list of potential collaborators based on what we know about interests and experience of faculty with whom we have worked. Our hope is that this will not only result in the most competitive, immediate proposals but also long-term, fruitful working relationships that are beneficial to all parties and the great work we are doing here at UVM. 

To facilitate these connections, a member of our team will meet with you to determine the expertise and skills you require in a collaborator. Next we will seek input from the rest of our team for recommendations on those with the requisite experience. Once we have identified one or more potential collaborators, we will provide you with a list. If there is interest in connecting, the Research Development team will facilitate by making a warm introduction via email or setting up a brief introductory meeting, unless PIs prefer to reach out to prospective collaborators directly.
