BIO
Hannah Pottgieser is an Assistant Director of Orientation and Student Advancement at UVM, where she oversees the hiring, training, and professional development of all Orientation Leaders. She received both her B.A. in Public Relations and her M.A. in Mass Communication from Texas Tech University. Hannah has spent most of her career in higher education, with a strong focus on student support and leadership development. Prior to her current role, she worked at UVM’s Davis Center, where she was responsible for hiring and training student employees. Hannah is passionate about helping students thrive during their transition to college and is committed to creating inclusive, empowering experiences for all new students.
Outside of work, Hannah enjoys spending time with her partner and their two cats. She loves watching sports, exploring the outdoors, collecting records, and getting lost in a good book.
