New Student Orientation is required for all incoming first-year and transfer students. Since it is mandatory, no registration is needed to participate in the program.  

Orientation will take place from August 20–24, 2025, for all new first-year and transfer students joining the UVM community in Fall 2025.

Accommodations for New Student Orientation

We want all new students to have a welcoming and accessible orientation experience. Throughout the program, we will be moving across campus and using spaces with varying room sizes, acoustics, and lighting.
