Kate joined the Office of Institutional Research & Assessment in 2025 as a Senior Analyst. She loves digging through thorny data to find valuable insights to improve the experience and outcomes of students of all ages. Prior to working at UVM, she was Coordinator of Accountability & Research in the Clark County School District in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Kate earned her Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where she focused on statewide judicial primary elections. She also holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from UNLV and Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Journalism from Northern Arizona University.
