With the support of the Provost’s Office, OIRA, and the Catamount Core Curriculum Committee, the Catamount Core Curriculum is assessed on a 5-year cycle. The Catamount Core Curriculum outcomes are assessed with the aim of responsive change.
Through the assessment process, we collect data and review the effectiveness of instructional methods, pedagogical approaches, and student learning outcomes across the range of courses. The assessment process supports the development of a plan for meaningful improvement through curricular changes and pedagogical approaches while also satisfying accreditation requirements.
