The mission of the Assessment Council is to strengthen the culture of assessment at the University of Vermont. Our vision is to develop a community of practice for educators to elevate departmental and cross-departmental assessment efforts in alignment with the Provost’s Academic Success Goals.
The Assessment Council is guided by four aims:
Highlight and strengthen connections between assessment activities and UVM’s strategic priorities.
Provide a community of practice and professional development in assessment.
Develop university-wide assessment standards and protocols.
Promote promising and collaborative assessment practices.
