The parking modifications in effect during Spring Break 2020 end on Sunday, March 15, 2020 with standard regulations in effect on Monday March 16, 2020 with the following exceptions for student residents, those assigned campus housing. Standard regulations, permit requirements, time restrictions and authorized locations remain in effect for our Student Commuters and Employees.
- Residential students both with or without valid resident permits will be allowed parking in the student residential lots in accordance with the directives set forth by the department of Residential Life at https://www.uvm.edu/uvmnews/news/3/12/20-message-students-and-families-important-residence-hall-occupancy-update. Parking in residential lots after Wednesday, March 18th will require a valid permit.
- Family members assisting their students with this move-out will be allowed parking in residential lots through Wednesday, March 18th unless further exceptions are announced. You will be notified in these circumstances.
The student residential lots need to remain available for on-campus housing students and likely their families, to retrieve their belongings in accordance with directives from the department of Residential Life.
Following Wednesday, March 18th, parking availability and logistics will be reassessed by the university based on the circumstances at that time. Please refer to your email and the university’s COVID-19 website for campus parking information as conditions evolve.
