South Burlington--A free workshop for youth age 10 and older will explore the science of breath, including how oxygen flows through the body and how breathing can affect mood and performance.
It will be held on July 12 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. in the South Burlington Library's Community Room, 180 Market St., South Burlington. It is sponsored by University of Vermont (UVM) Extension 4-H and Oxygen Advantage® certified practitioner, Nicole Carpenter, who will lead the interactive session. Oxygen Advantage® is a global breath work training program that teaches the science behind optimal breathing.
Membership in 4-H is not required to participate. Both youths and parents who plan to stay for the workshop must register by noon on July 11 at https://go.uvm.edu/breathscience as space is limited.
