MISSION: The Northern New England Clinical and Translational Research Network (NNE-CTR) is committed to health equity in communities, with a focus on rurality. Through collaborations with an expanding network engaging our academic institutions, health care organizations, and local community stakeholders, we leverage innovative strategies and technologies to address health and health care challenges. Together, we transform research & health infrastructures to meet the needs of our region.

Collaborative Research

  • Expanding infrastructure, collaborations, and human resources to meet clinical and translational research needs in northern New England
  • Promoting rural & community participation by leveraging Community Engagement Research Navigators and Community Engagement Councils to engage with Primary Care Practices in our communities
  • Strengthening relationships with our partners by sharing state of the art technologies

  • Building a bidirectional communication network to meet rural communities via their preferred local channels
  • Strengthening community engagement to ensure research reflects the health priorities and people of our region

National Impact

Body
  • Developing and sharing innovative clinical tools to meet local, national, and international health needs
  • Engaging with the National Institutes of Health and IDeA network initiatives at the national level, such as N3C, RECOVER, & RADx-Up
  • Supporting national clinical trials through our community health networks
