Recover Deleted Email

1. Navigate to Outlook Online. Sign in with your NetID and Password if prompted.
2. Open the Deleted Items folder and select any messages you’d like to restore. Then click the folder-with-arrow icon and select Inbox.

2. Deleted folders will appear as subfolders of the Deleted Items folder. To view these folders, expand the Deleted Items folder by clicking the caret icon.
   
3. To restore a folder, click-and-drag it outside of Deleted Items.
   
4. You should now see the restored folder in your folder list, no longer nested inside Deleted Items.
   

If your message was purged or your Deleted Items folder is empty, you may still be able to retrieve your message using the Recover items deleted from this folder feature.

1. Navigate to Outlook Online. Sign in with your NetID and Password if prompted.
2. Open the Deleted Items folder.
   
3. Click Recover items deleted from this folder (# items), which is found above the list of messages if any purged items are recoverable.
4. To restore a single message, click-and-drag it back to the Inbox.  To restore multiple, check each message you’d like to recover, and then click Restore.
