Overview

Overview

Agroecology is not a term frequently used by Vermont farmers, but many already implement some principles of agroecology into their farms and communities. Similarly, most UVM Extension programs do not formally articulate an agroecological approach, but many existing Extension programs utilize agroecological approaches to working with farmersincorporate elements of agroecology. This webpage is an opportunity to tell these stories of farmers and Extension personnel exploring and engaging with agroecological principles. This webpage is also meant to offer an on-the-ground perspective of what is happening on vegetable and berry farms in Vermont as the seasons turn.
