Dataset Overview
Regeneration surveys conducted in 37 clearcuts categorized into 4 different age classes (time since harvest) 3-5,6-10,11-15,16-20. Stocking rate - stems/acre - was reported for each. Surveys conducted within a landscape of industrial ownership and relative high moose densities. Attempt to assess potential impact of moose browse on future economic/ecological conditions of regeneration forest stands.
