Project Overview
Assessment of bird habitat parameters (e.g. vertical and horizontal structure, CWD functionality, tree spp.) at established Forest Health Monitoring plots using an adapted version of the Foresters for the Birds methodology.
Objectives
The objectives of this project were to provide an additional resource for analysis of established FHM plots using birds and bird habitat as indicators of forest health, and to note overarching patterns between bird species observed, quality of bird habitat, and forest health.
