Project Overview
The NETN program is maintained by the National Park Service and is carried out in national parks in the Northeast, with 350 continuous forest monitoring plots in eight different locations across the region. These plots have been maintained since their establishment in 2006 and four repeat measures have been completed on a four year measurement interval.
Objectives
The mission of this program is to collect, manage, and translate high quality information about the condition of natural resources in national parks to make better-informed management decisions.
