Dataset Overview
This dataset includes 504 CTD profiles taken on Lake Champlain by University of Vermont researchers between April 2012 to August 2021. Data were collected with a Seabird SBE 19 Plus CTD deployed from the University's research vessel, the R/V Melosira. The dataset includes measurements of several physicochemical attributes, including conductivity, salinity, oxygen saturation, temperature, PAR/Irradiance, and fluorescence.
- Purpose
CTD casts were taken for various projects being conducted by researchers at the Rubenstein Ecosystem Science lab, including bottom trawling, plankton sampling, and for educational purposes during University of Vermont classes.
