The Division of Enrollment Management is responsible for developing enrollment strategy, implementing and assessing strategic and operational programs to recruit, admit, retain, and graduate undergraduate students consistent with UVM’s traditions, values, mission, vision, and evolving strategic goals. The Division of Enrollment Management is comprised of; undergraduate admissions, enrollment analytics, strategic retention, student financial services including student employment, and the office of the registrar including transfer affairs and student veteran services.

Director of Student Financial Services
The Office of Student Financial Services (SFS) collaborates with the University to oversee student finance matters, including federal and institutional financial aid, scholarships, student receivables, collections, loan repayment, and the Student Employment Office. Serving as a strategic partner, SFS supports university recruitment, retention, and student success initiatives for all student levels. From initial interest to graduation, SFS assists students and parents, guiding them through enrollment and supporting graduates in education loan repayment.

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is responsible for the outreach, recruitment, admission and enrollment of undergraduate first-year, transfer and international students. The admissions office consists of forty staff and supports prospective students and parents by focusing on areas such as campus visits and events, territory management and admissions counseling, operations, data management, application review, technology, diversity and international admissions, alumni admissions, and marketing and communications.

Director of Orientation and Student Advancement
The New Student Orientation Program assists incoming students in gaining the knowledge, skills and opportunities that will enable them to make a smooth transition to the University of Vermont and to become engaged and productive members of the community. Orientation is an essential first step in an ongoing effort to retain students and promote their continued success throughout their academic journeys. The Orientation Office leads university-wide strategic planning and program development for academic and co-curricular processes, communications, and campus-based and online programs for new students annually.
