Clinical Assistant Professor

Nathan Kokinda is a clinical assistant professor within the Department of Rehabilitation and Movement Science, where he specializes in physiological testing. He currently teaches Exercise Evaluation and Prescription, the Exercise Physiology Laboratory and the Senior Capstone Experience.

Professor Kokinda's clinical work takes place at the Vermont Cancer Center, where he provides support as an exercise physiologist to the Oncology Rehabilitation Program and a research study focusing on exercise intervention following breast cancer treatment. Prior to joining the Department of Rehabilitation and Movement Science in the fall of 2012, he was the senior research physiologist for the UVM Clinical Research Center at The University of Vermont Medical Center, where he managed the Physiology Core Lab and assisted with protocol development and data collection for principle investigators.
