Health Equity Summer Fellowship
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Minority Health provides Health Equity Fellowships to undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students interested in a career in health. These fellowships provide hands-on, “in the field” learning opportunities through short-term, project-based placements in diverse organizations or institutions that promote health equity and/or addresses health disparities. CNHS Mindfulness Drop-In Hour
CNHS students, staff and faculty are invited to cultivate presence, compassion, effectiveness, wonder and wellbeing together in this free weekly mindfulness drop-in series led by student facilitators from UVM Mindfulness. No experience necessary; each session is open to newcomers as well as those who can attend regularly. Sessions begin Wednesday, Feb. 6 and will be held weekly through Apr. 30 from 2:20-3:10 p.m. in 001 Rowell Building.
