Professor Byung Lee joined UVM in 1999. His primary research interests are in database and data mining. His research was funded by NSF, DoE, Vermont EPSCoR, and industry. He regularly teaches courses in database systems and algorithm design & analysis. He also served on many international conferences. He received his PhD from Stanford University, MS from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, and BS from Seoul National University.
