Biology 

“I am a Biological Sciences major, and I transferred from a community college in Florida. I love to cook, take pictures of mushrooms, and have recently picked up ice skating!”

Religion & Music 

“I love to play piano and guitar, and I also enjoy drawing/painting! In my free time, I like to go to concerts and play video games with my friends.” 

Business Administration 

“I transferred to UVM my junior year and I’ve really liked my experience so far. I’ve enjoyed meeting new people and getting more involved. In my free time I like being outdoors, especially hiking, and spending time with my friends. I also really enjoy music and going to concerts whenever I get the change. I’m excited to meet other transfer students and help make their transition a little easier!”

Art History 

“UVM is my 4^th college and by far my favorite. There are so many opportunities here that I wish I had had earlier, and I'm happy to share them with you! This Fall, you can find me near the fireplace on the first floor of the Davis Center on Mondays from 2:00-3:00 if there's anything you want to chat about.”

“Hi! My name is Andrew and I am a Biochemistry major from Pittsburgh, PA. I enjoy hiking, anything that has to do with music, and going on sunset walks. My favorite TV show currently is House MD. I am so excited to be a TSL and help fellow transfer students at UVM!”

“I am originally from Vermont. I transferred after my first semester at a different school and love it here! I enjoy arts and crafts and meandering around town and campus. I am very excited to be a Transfer Student Leader, and I am always open to talking and making new friends.”

“Hi, I am Basil! I am from southern Vermont and transferred from CCV to UVM in Spring 2026. I love going to concerts, spending time with friends, and crafting! I look forward to getting to know you all this fall!” 

Political Science 

“Hi! I’m Eliza and I transferred in Fall 2025, and I am so glad I did! I love being outside, especially at the beach or lake. I like trying new places to eat, reading, and spending time with friends. I am always happy to help, so please don’t hesitate to reach out!”
